mushroom cap is based on a design used by medieval alchemists for
extracting essential oils and fragrance essences. Steam passes through
the plant material stuffed in the inside of the cap, condenses on the
walls of the mushroom cap and runs out in to the outside flask carrying
the desired oils with it. This unit can be purchased as an accessory to

Professional Round Bottom unit performs the same functions as the
standard Professional unit with the added benefit of being able to pull
a deep vacuum. The use of vacuum enables the user to distill at much
lower temperatures and do extractions much faster. The unit comes
complete with a cold trap to capture solvent vapors and return the
solvent to the main flask. It also comes with a high quality vacuum
